Australian Museum pivots to brand marketing after reopening to the public
March 16, 2021 10:58
The Australian Museum is encouraging Sydneysiders to ask ‘why?’ and question world history as they know it in a new campaign to relaunch the museum as a tourism destination.
The campaign comes after the museum’s reopening in November following a 15 month, $57.7 million transformation that increased the public spaces and improved its amenities. It also marks a shift from an exhibition-led approach to the Australian Museum’s marketing to a focus on brand.
The campaign was created by SomeOne and VCCP with Atomic 212 on board to amplify the ads through an integrated media buy, including outdoor, radio, print, social media, programmatic and online video.

The NFL truly is special.
While nearly every facet of society and business were shutting down at one point or another due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the NFL not only managed to get a full season in but lo and behold, here we are for Super Bowl week.
Granted, it will be a Super Bowl like none other, one that will be devoid of the usual pomp and circumstance for which the game has become known.
All that window dressing aside, there will be a game played between the Bucs and the Chiefs this Sunday in Tampa, Florida, with some fans allowed into the stands. And after there being grave doubts about there even being a Super Bowl week, we’re about to unfold what should be an exciting lead-up to the game with some of the following storylines set to take center stage.
