PETALING JAYA: The Cabinet must advise the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to quickly convene the next Parliament session, says the Pakatan Harapan secretariat council. There are no more excuses for Parliament not to convene. Therefore, the Cabinet must uphold the King s advice, it said in a press release on Wednesday (March 3). Among the excuses given were that laws do need to be passed in Parliament during the Emergency Ordinance and many MPs are at high risk of being infected with Covid-19 if Parliament were to sit, added the council. It said that all the excuses were disrespectful towards the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong s decree on Feb 24, stating that the Parliament can convene during the Emergency ordinance. ....

They are Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail (Kulim Bandar Baru MP), Anthony Loke (Seremban MP) and Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad (Kuala Selangor MP).
