Drive-thru stem cell registration event Sunday for mother of three
SALIDA Ericka, a Salida area mother of three, needs to find a stem cell match.
 In October 2020, Ericka was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), a group of diverse bone marrow disorders. Ericka is Dutch Indonesian, Filipino, and Portuguese. So, her matching donor will most likely be someone of a similar ethnic background.
A drive-thru stem cell registration event takes place on Sunday, March 14,   from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hughes Business Park, 5492 Pirrone Road, in Salida to help Ericka and other patients of color searching for a stem cell match. ....
