MADD, law enforcement and RIDOT hope to deter impaired driving by honoring those who died

In November 2005, Major Donald Dubois of the East Providence Police Department, comforted Thomas Cabral, brother of Swansea Police Lt. Robert Cabral, at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Swansea. He was everybody s best man, said Dubois, who had Cabral as the best man for his wedding.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving and state and local law enforcement have teamed again to drive home the message that drunk-driving deaths are 100% preventable, and they re honoring people who have died to raise awareness.  ....
