FREMONT â Tommy Cook won both late model features and Cliff Bennett took both mini-stock features to highlight racing action at Angola Motorsport Speedway Saturday night.

Local athletes earn All-Conference, All-District, All-State
Local athletes put in work this spring on the fields and the track, with many earning postseason honors for their respective conferences and districts, as well as in the state.

The Cassville baseball team earned a trio of All-Big 8 West nods, with senior Zach Acheson named Second Team infield, sophomore Isaac Hadlow named Second Team infield and junior Tim Hudson named Honorable Mention outfield.
The Purdy baseball team is taking some momentum into the next few seasons, as six starting sophomores are moving up in the fall to help lead at team already with double-digit wins this spring. Joshua.
