ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) reported 8 additional COVID-19-related deaths in a report that combines Saturday s, Sunday s and Monday s numbers.
The latest deaths include:
1 recent death:
A male in his 70s from Doña Ana County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions.
7 deaths >30 days:
A male in his 70s from Bernalillo County. The individual had underlying conditions and was a resident of the Spanish Trails Rehabilitation Suites in Albuquerque.
A male in his 90s from Bernalillo County. The individual had underlying conditions and was a resident of the Odelia Healthcare (Camino Healthcare) facility in Albuquerque.
SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials on Monday announced 570 additional COVID-19 cases and 8 deaths. As of today, there are 143 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19. This number may include individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 out of state but are currently hospitalized in New Mexico. This number does not include New Mexicans who tested positive for COVID-19 and may have been transferred to a hospital out of state.
Per the state Department of Health, the most recent cases are:
157 new cases in Bernalillo County
1 new case in Catron County
18 new cases in Chaves County
3 new cases in Cibola County

STATE News:
SANTA FE – New Mexico Department of Health officials announced today 570 new COVID-19 cases in total for Saturday, May 8, Sunday, May 9 and Monday, May 10.
Los Alamos County reports 1 new case bringing the total to 525 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)
Today’s update includes 8 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.
The New Mexico Department of Health reports the most recent cases:
157 new cases in Bernalillo County

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials on Friday announced 218 additional COVID-19 cases. Per the state Department of Health, the most recent cases are:
· 70 new cases in Bernalillo County
· 6 new cases in Chaves County
· 3 new cases in Cibola County
· 2 new cases in Colfax County
· 1 new case in Curry County
· 29 new cases in Doña Ana County
· 5 new cases in Eddy County
· 10 new cases in Grant County
· 10 new cases in Lea County
· 1 new case in Lincoln County
· 12 new cases in Otero County
· 3 new cases in Roosevelt County
· 22 new cases in Sandoval County
