A dad-of-two was shot while his daughter was close by and saw him bleeding as he fell to the ground outside a West Derby property.
Sunday league football manager Nicky Ayers was gunned down outside his mother-in-law s home in West Derby.
The 46-year-old was shot seven times at close-range on South Cantril Avenue, three hours after leaving his relative s house at 9.30pm, on April 29, 2010,
The Western Approaches football boss had spent the evening having dinner at his relative s address and watching Crimewatch on TV before going to meet a friend on nearby Meadow Lane and then heading to a chip shop at 11.30pm.
