Man Linked to Jamestown Stabbing Taken into Custody

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man linked to a stabbing that happened on May 2nd in Jamestown has been arrested.
On May 15th, Jamestown Police received an anonymous tip giving them the whereabouts of Timothy Ost. The tip led officers to the area of the 1000 block of 10th St. SE in Jamestown.
“Officers responded and located Ost,” Major Justin Blinksy reports. “Ost had an active warrant for his arrest related to another incident. He was arrested for that warrant without incident and transported to Corrections.”
After further investigation into the Aggravated Assault incident on 5/2/2021, 47-year-old Timothy Allen Ost has been arrested on suspicion of Aggravated Assault and Burglary related to that incident. He is being held at the Stutsman County Correctional Center awaiting formal charges. ....

Jamestown stabbing suspect arrested after anonymous tip

JAMESTOWN N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) – A suspect wanted for a stabbing at a Jamestown mobile home two weeks ago was arrested Saturday.
Police received an anonymous tip that led them to Timothy Ost. He had an active warrant for aggravated assault for the May 2nd incident.
Ost is accused of breaking into a mobile home and stabbing a 47-year old man once in the abdomen while making terroristic threats. The victim was taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center where he was treated and later released.
Police say the victim was targeted and Ost knows him.
Ost is being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center. ....

Jamestown Man Facing Charges of Terrorizing & Arson

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man is facing charges of terrorizing and arson following a fire near Ypsilanti Sunday.
The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office took Raymond Risser, 59, into custody following the incident. Documents say Risser is accused of threatening to set a home on fire of one individual and actually starting a fire to destroy the property of another individual. Risser’s vehicle had been identified at the scene, leading to his arrest in the case.
Risser is being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center on $10,000 bond.
