This week has been one for the record books.
Hermiston had its hottest day ever recorded Monday, June 28, at 115 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, and was on track Tuesday afternoon to reach 117 degrees as forecast by the Weather Service.
The cityâs previous all-time record was 113 degrees, set in 1961. Its previous record for June was 111 degrees.
