Anglo Celtic Plate 100km event taking place later this year. The 2021 event has been scheduled for Saturday 21 August in Ireland. Scotland performed with distinction at the last edition of the ACP when it was held in Perth two years ago. This year, there are hopes to send male and female teams to Ireland with up to five selections in each category. The event will include the British and Scottish 100k championships, as in previous year. We are looking for expressions of interest by noon on Friday 23 April. Madden spent more than 60 years in the resort business, his name was synonymous with Madden s on Gull Lake, which he co-founded with brother Jack in the 1930s. 30 years ago (1991) Former county sheriff Frank Ball confirmed that he will seek the post of Brainerd police chief, now that Ralph Hitchens has retired. Ball is currently serving as administrator of the NET VI Drug Task Force. If Ball does get the chief s position, both he and Sheriff Dick Ross – who competed in a spirited battle for sheriff – say they can work together amicably. ....
