Investec appoints heads to lead new advice arm By Michael Klimes 10 th June 2021 7:42 am Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) has launched a new advice proposition by combining its financial planning services. It has appointed Michelle Holgate and Sarfraz Hafeji as co-heads of its wealth advisory business. They now lead the combined financial planning division as well as the recently formed wealth planning service. Holgate has been in the profession for 17 years and has worked with high net worth individuals both in the UK and offshore. Hafeji has worked in financial services for nearly 21 years, 17 of which have been at Investec. ....
UK financial regulator makes c-suite changes, while wealth platform names CEO Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) The UK financial regulator has made senior appointments to drive its transformation. Stephanie Cohen will be the FCA’s chief operating 0fficer and Jessica Rusu will join the FCA as its first chief data, information and intelligence officer. Cohen brings over two decades of experience in large financial services firms, including 14 years at BlackRock where she was the global chief operating officer for the active equity businesses and the alpha strategies division. Rusu was previously a chief data officer at Chetwood Financial. They will both join in June. ....
