Although the brewing company located in Stanbridge Streetâs rapidly growing industrial district is making its debut this month, the brothers von Czoernig (hence, the more candid âvon C,â as one of the men explained) are  carrying on a venerable legacy familiar to many residents: Schmidtâs Beer.

Eventually patrons can read a timeline mural that details the evolution of Schmidtâs, check out the history on the website (voncbrewing.com) or simply ask any of the three brothers, Rick von Czoernig, Eric Czoernig and Jay Czoernig, who are all hands-on guys overseeing operations here.
