Pella Historical Society is nearing the finish line of the overall Forging our Future Campaign, which consisted of both new construction and renovation of their historic properties in the Tulip City. Assistant Director Jessi Vos says the project first launched in March in 2018 aimed to transform their efforts in preserving and sharing the history of the community. There were three key projects, including renovation of the Scholte House and construction of the new Scholte Garden, which was completed last summer, which Vos says has been a success both with the new view greeting visitors into the Central Business District and the updates to the Founder’s home. ....
