Nurse who 'took her own life' after struggling to cope when she lost three limbs is laid to rest

A brave nurse who took her own life after struggling to cope when she lost three limbs to sepsis has been laid to rest following a horse-drawn procession through her home town.
People lined the streets to say farewell to Jayne Carpenter, 53, ahead of her funeral today at St Tydfil s Old Parish Church in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales.
Jayne, who campaigned to highlight the dangers of sepsis, continued to dance and keep-fit using metal prosthetic legs that caused terrible pain and infections.
Her heartbroken husband Rob, 56, said she would have loved having four black horses for her funeral procession.
