Friday: Music in the park
ORANGE Music in the Park returns this summer to the “Friendly Town” as the Orange Community Band, under the baton of Stephanie Parker, will be performing a series of four outdoor concerts on the band stand in Butterfield Park. Scheduled dates for the free concerts are Friday evenings, July 9, 16 and 23, at 7 p.m. Please note this is an earlier start time this season. Concerts will be approximately one hour with no intermission. On Friday, July 30, Marty’s Reminisce orchestra will perform music from the ’40s, ’50s and more on the bandstand. ....

Salem LCBA to meet tonight
Salem LCBA Branch 654 at St. Paul Catholic Church will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the home of Mimi Johnson at 245 Woodside Drive, Salem (off U.S. Route 62 near Damascus). Note there is a change in time and location of the meeting. Anyone wishing to carpool is requested to meet in St. Paul Church parking lot at 6 p.m.
Future benefit projects will be finalized during the business session to be conducted by President Rose Bedell. Refreshments will be served by Kathleen and Michelle Weikart. A program on “Horse Therapy” will be presented by Mary Caye Bixler. ....
