Rochester winery hosting viewing of Jupiter-Saturn conjunction
Salem Glen Winery is hosting a viewing as Jupiter and Saturn reach the closest they ve been seen from Earth in nearly 400 years.

As Jupiter and Saturn come closer together in our night sky than they have been in almost 400 years, people viewing the astronomical event are still being asked to keep their distance.
Salem Glen Winery in Rochester is hosting an evening conjunction viewing 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, the night the two planets will appear at their closest in Earth’s sky.
The winery is also home to an astronomy observatory that’s still under renovation. Even if it was complete, the COVID-19 outbreak would rule out having a public event there, anyway. ....
