Al Zahia launches sale of 290-unit Sharjah villa community SHARJAH, 4 hours, 34 minutes ago Al Zahia, a joint venture between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management, has launched the sales of ready-to-move in residential units within its Al Lilac neighbourhood.
An idyllic residential community comprising 290 three- to five-bedroom villas and townhouses, Al Lilac is the latest neighbourhood to welcome families in Al Zahia, following the handover of homes in Al Jouri and Al Narjis in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
Complementing Al Zahia’s six other neighbourhoods and adding to its unique philosophy of place-making, Al Lilac is carefully crafted to resonate with the integrated community’s lifestyle, said the statement from the Sharjah developer. ....

Traffic between Dubai and Sharjah is set to drastically improve Say goodbye to stop-start queues between the emirates… A new road has opened which is set to drastically improve the traffic flow between Dubai and Sharjah. The Al Khawaneej Roads Improvement Project includes an underpass between Al Khawaneej Road and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road and a bridge between Al Amardi Road and Emirates Road. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) shared a video on its Twitter account which explains how the new roads will cut travel time from 25 minutes to nine minutes.
