Xavier Sheldon Snyder, 21, of Washington in Warren County, pleaded guilty in November 2019 to third-degree murder and conspiracy to commit third-degree murder in the shooting death of 19-year-old Teayahe Glover. Snyder was charged in the killing along with Kasheem Aiken, and Snyder’s plea deal included a promise to testify against Aiken. The Broadway road diet a plan to re-stripe Broadway, converting it from four lanes to three was a hot topic in last fall’s Winona City Council election, and now the new City Council could very well stop the project in its tracks. First proposed in 2015 following a series of pedestrian accidents on Broadway, the road diet would repave Broadway from Sioux Street to Mankato Avenue and re-stripe the road so that it only has two travel lanes, while adding one center left-turn lane. The project would also update crosswalk curb ramps along the route to meet American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, install curb bumpouts at a handful of intersections, and add bicycle lanes. Feminine Hygiene Product Drive 2021 #PadParty2021 is quickly approaching!!! Every January there is a Feminine Hygiene Product Drive for The Banquet and this January is no different. However, how the event will run has changed. Most years, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day/Day of Service, there would be a feminine hygiene drive at Miner Brewing, but not for 2021. For the eleventh year of the event, donation boxes will be placed at Waterbury Heating & Cooling, Inc, Elegant Mommy, or Miner Brewing in Sioux Falls, SD. Collections will start on January 9th and go through January 16th. Then, all the donations will be given to The Banquet on January 18th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day/Day of Service. ....
BETHLEHEM, Pa. | An insult over a sweatshirt allegedly ended with a handgun being drawn on a Bethlehem street. Bethlehem police charged Jan D. Sabin with assault and reckless endangerment in connection with the alleged armed altercation with a stranger Sunday afternoon on Sioux Street. District Judge Patricia Broscius arraigned the 65-year-old hours after his arrest, setting bail at $10,000. Bethlehem police were dispatched to the 900 block of Sioux Street about 2:30 p.m. for a report of a man pointing a gun at another man.
