But musicians, especially from the world of classical music, are mourning deep losses too. Several of its luminaries have succumbed to COVID or other illnesses, leaving a void in their field. Last year, Pt Jasraj succumbed to cardiac arrest. Earlier this year, Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan passed away. In April, Pt Rajan Mishra lost his battle with Covid and Last Month Pt Anandagopal Bandyopadhyay and Pt Devabrata Chaudhuri and son Prateek Chaudhuri all succumbed to the virus and it left their disciples, followers and friends in deep sadness. ....
