The Mohamed Bin Zayed Falconry and Desert Physiognomy School, in the Remah and Telal Resort in Al Ain region, is a major educational, cultural and tourist attraction in the region. The school was initiated in 2016 as the first platform of its kind in the world for teaching the art of Arabian falconry, with its initial group of students ranging from seven to 17 years old. It has been participating in major heritage events to promote its programmes, foremost of which are the Sheikh Zayed Festival and the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), whose next edition will be held Sept. 27 – Oct. 3, 2021.

Abu Dhabi family seeks help finding pet dog lost during NYE fireworks show
The male puppy went missing in the Al Wathba area
A family from Abu Dhabi is seeking help from community members in finding their pet dog, Mochi, who went missing during the New Year celebrations held at Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi’s Al Wathba.
Mochi, the missing fur baby, is a male Shih Tzu and more than three years old. According to the family, he is a mix of black, brown and greyish cream in colour.
Malou Ariate and her husband Ali Al Dhaheri have been trying to find their pet dog since the New Year s Eve 35-minute record-breaking fireworks show at the festival.
The first record was set for the longest-running fireworks show, which ran continuously for 35 minutes with fireworks launched from 16 towers. The second was for the longest Girandola fireworks show in the world.
