Wuigada is a dedicated space where First Nations musicians can share and celebrate music made by other First Nations musicians with PBS audiences. 
Wuigada was named and developed by the highly acclaimed indigenous singer songwriter, Kutcha Edwards. Wuigada in Mutti Mutti means to sing .   
In this edition of Wuigada we hear from
singer, songwriter and proud Yorta Yorta man from the Dungala (or Murray River), in Echuca Moama, Benny Walker.
We asked Benny about the inspiration behind his third studio album and latest release,
Chosen Line. 
The title is taken from the song, Chosen Line , and what that is about is the career path I took, or the journey my life has taken so far, I’ve said before that it also could have been called Unchosen Line . Parrtjima shining brightly with eight nights to go

Parrtjima – A Festival in Light has attracted more than 5000 attendances over the first two nights, with visitors inspired by the large-scale light and art installations, and an action-packed program of events that includes music, workshops, talks and film. Highlights so far have been a spine-tingling exclusive live performance by Electric Fields in front of the MacDonnell Ranges light show, Casey Donovan wowing the crowd and author Bruce Pascoe captivating an eager audience.
One of tonight’s star attractions is NRL legend Josh Addo-Carr, who joins the talks program to discuss his life and premiership-winning career with Parrtjima Curator Rhoda Roberts. Spreading the word about Parrtjima to his followers and the sporting world, Josh will also take part in an NRLNT clinic tomorrow, where he will meet some of the region’s rising rugby league stars and show them a trick or two. Ripple Effect Band

In this edition of Wuigada we hear from Maningrida in Arnhem Land, with 
Ripple Effect Band. While following in the tradition of saltwater rock from the top end,
Ripple Effect Band forged new ground as the first women from their community to play instruments and form their own all women band. They sing in the languages of their people, Ndjébbana, Burarra, Na-kara and Kune and they have a story to tell about their land, their languages and their culture.
We are currently working on recording an album, due for release in 2022 – hopefully by then we can plan some touring to share our music with everyone. ....

Wuigada was named and developed by the highly acclaimed indigenous singer songwriter, 
Kutcha Edwards. 
In this edition of Wuigada we hear from Meanjin, Brisbane based artist, and formerly one half of Black Salt,
Waveney Yasso. Since moving on from Black Salt, Waveney has been forging ahead with multiple other exciting musical pursuits. 
There are a lot of interesting projects based in Meanjin, Brisbane that I have been excited to be involved with. Firstly, I help to run an event with Astrid Jorgensen called Pub Choir, which hopefully with the ease of restrictions will return to Brisbane again. I am also super stoked to be working alongside ....
