He’s coming from North West College in Battleford, Saskatchewan where he also served as President and CEO. “Mr. Notay brings over 25 years of post-secondary experience to the position, roles including college president, vice-president academic, and dean, for urban and rural post-secondary institutions in Saskatchewan, Ontario, and British Columbia,” said Shelley Powell, Keyano Board Chair. “We believe that Jay will see Keyano College through these challenging economic times and provide the direction and leadership to make the College even more successful.” ....

ThHREE men who dumped household waste by the roadside in Knowsley have been ordered to pay hundreds of pounds after confessing to fly-tipping. Ryan Queen, 27, of Wilson Road in Prescot, dumped waste including a bed frame and broken pieces of wood in Water Lane, Tarbock Green in April last year. Trading as Ryan’s Removals, he had been paid by residents to dispose of their household waste, but ended up leaving it in a turning near the Knowsley Expressway. Eventually, he was tracked down and brought to court, where he admitted dumping household waste without a permit at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court back in April. ....
