By: Barry Mangold WOODWARD, Oklahoma - Many in Woodward attended a vigil Wednesday night to honor six people who were killed in an overnight mobile home fire. Woodward Fire Chief Todd Finley said about three-quarters of the home was fully involved when crews arrived. One firefighter rescued a child inside by smashing a nearby lawnmower into a window air-conditioning unit. He said it was impossible to reach the others. The heat was so incredible, even being low to the ground, it started to blister and melt (firefighters ) masks, Finley said. I ve been at this fire department 22 years. I ve never seen a fire of this magnitude. ....
