Norwich homes affected by water main burst | Norwich Evening News

Anglian Water is currently working to repair the burst water main.

A burst water main has caused homes in a part of Norwich to find themselves with little or no running water.
Anglian Water engineers were called to repair the problem which occurred in the Sherbourne Place area of Norwich on Friday evening.
The company expects water supplies to be restored by 11pm.
Following the repair, customers were advised they may need to run their tap as the water may look a little cloudy or discoloured.
In an update shortly before 9pm, the company said: We re really sorry but some customers in Sherbourne Place, Norwich, may have very low water pressure or no water at all. ....

Toronto PSW receives country's first Covid-19 vaccination

Doug Ford released the following statement.
“Today is a historic day for Ontario and for Canada as the first Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccines have started to be given to our frontline health care heroes.
I would especially like to recognize Anita Quidangen, the first person in Ontario and Canada to receive the shot. Anita is a personal support worker (PSW) from the Rekai Centre at Sherbourne Place, a long-term care home in Toronto. She has worked tirelessly to care for some of our most vulnerable, both throughout this pandemic and since her first days as a PSW in 1988. Anita has spent years rolling up her sleeves to protect our province, and today, she didn’t hesitate to find a new way to do so. She represents the best of the Ontario Spirit.” ....
