Redding City Council approves police department pay raise
The Redding City Council voted to approve a police department salary increase at Tuesday s city council meeting.

UPDATE 6:00 a.m. Wednesday - The Redding City Council voted four to one to approve a salary increase for Redding police officers. The vote allows the Redding Police Department to increase pay incrementally, for a total increase of 20.5% by September of 2022.

REDDING, Calif. - Redding Police pay raise is a topic of discussion at Tuesday night s Redding City Council meeting.
This is part of a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Redding and the Redding Peace Officers Association. If approved, this series of salary increases would last until September 2023. ....
