Unlike neighboring cities, Redondo did not align its upcoming election date with the general elections. Mayor Brand, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2019, will face Chris Voisey, a chief technology officer and community volunteer; Michael Ian Sachs, a retired Chevron employee who ran for mayor in 2017; and Shayne Hartman, a proposal analyst from Northrop Grumman.
