Shishir Darji Vadodara: Six days after he committed suicide at his home, cops have booked Shishir Darji’s wife and in-laws for abetment to suicide. The police have already taken Monika Darji, Kailashnath Jaiswal and Geeta Jaiswal into custody and are awaiting their Covid-19 report for formal arrest. “Darji had left a note before taking his own life blaming the trio for his suicide. We investigated the case and booked the three accused,” said J I Patel, police inspector, Jawaharnagar police station. Monika was picked up from Dabhoi where she was staying with her brother, while Geeta and Kailashnath were taken into custody from their home in Vyara. ....

The woman identified as Vaishali Deshmukh suffered severe injuries on her head and died on the spot. The Makarpura police registered a case of accidental death and have begun investigations in the case. According to the police, Vaishali and Saurabh got married about three years ago and moved to Bakeri apartment in Makarpura after shifting to Vadodara from Pune. Saurabh works with a private firm in Karjan, while Vaishali was a homemaker, said police. ....
Shishir Darji VADODARA: Cops investigating the suicide of a salesman in the city said that his wife and in-laws may be booked soon. Shishir Darji, a law graduate, had died by suicide at his home in Bajwa on Monday afternoon. Darji had left a suicide note wherein he blamed his wife Monika and her parents for torturing him. “Darji’s suicide note clearly states that he ended his life due to harassment by his wife and in-laws. Investigations are on in the case, but those named in the suicide note will be booked soon,” said a police official. The cops, though, are yet to question Monika and her parents in connection with the suicide. ....

Shishir Darji, who stayed in Amrapali Society, took the extreme step when he was alone at his home. The deceased left a two-page suicide note wherein he blamed his wife Monika and in-laws for his suicide. Darji wrote that it is not a suicide but murder. Investigating officials said that they are investigating the role of Darji’s wife and other persons. According to the police, Darji went into his room on the first floor of the house and removed the fan and then hung himself with a sari. ....
