They were also accompanied by the retired as well as current Delhi Police officers at the protest. I was deployed at the gate of the Red Fort. We were bringing out the crowd that had entered and hoisted the flag, after which we were suddenly attacked. They had sticks and swords with them. Plea in SC seeks probe into tractor rally violence on Jan 26 ANI | Updated: Jan 31, 2021 02:30 IST New Delhi [India], January 31 (ANI): A petition has been filed on Saturday by two lawyers, before the Supreme Court seeking an independent probe by Special Investigation Team (SIT) or judicial enquiry commission headed by a retired SC judge in connection with the alleged violence, damage of public property and breach of peaceful protest in the farmer s tractor rally held on January 26. The petition was filed by two advocates Vishal Thakre and Abhay Singh Yadav through their lawyer Pradeep Kumar Yadav and Advocate on Record (AOR) Sanjeev Malhotra before the Supreme Court. ....
