AAA Kansas says gasoline prices and supply will be affected by pipeline shutdown AAA Kansas said Monday that gasoline prices could go up this week because of the shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline, which provides fuel to the East Coast. The pipeline was shut down as a precaution because of a cyberattack. AAA Kansas spokesman Shawn Steward said the shutdown will affect supply and prices, but the impact will vary across the United States. Areas including Mississippi, Tennessee and the East Coast from Georgia to Delaware could see limited availability and prices increases ranging from three cents to seven cents. Other areas of the country will see little impact. ....
