Clarinda Man Arrested During Emmet County Traffic Stop By mmcwilliams May 24, 2021 12:03 pm Saga Communications Emmet County, IA (KICD) A Clarinda man was arrested as the result of a traffic stop in Emmet County on May 14th. Emmet County Sheriff Mike Martens says a deputy on patrol observed a vehicle speeding in the 4300 block of highway 9 and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle at around 7:30 P.M. that evening. During the investigation in regards to the traffic violation, drug paraphernalia was discovered. A K-9 was deployed to the scene and indicated the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Upon a search of the vehicle, deputies seized 29 grams of marijuana and marijuana edible products, a scale, and packaging materials. ....
