SHARON, MA Sharon Public Schools reported on Tuesday that two students at Heights Elementary School and one student at Sharon High School have tested positive for coronavirus, the district s eighth, ninth, and tenth new cases since Jan. 5.
According to a letter to families from Superintendent of Schools Meg Dussault, the individuals who tested positive have not been in close contact with anyone in the school community.
Three students have tested positive for COVID, one at the high school and two at Heights, said the district in a Twitter post. Only the student at the high school required contact tracing and all potential exposures have been contacted. ....

SHARON, MA Sharon Public Schools reported on Monday that a student and a staff member at East Elementary School have tested positive for coronavirus, the district s sixth and seventh new cases since Jan. 5.
According to a letter to families from Superintendent of Schools Meg Dussault, the individuals who tested positive have not been in close contact with anyone in the school community.
We have been informed of two positive cases of COVID at East, one a staff member, and one a student, said the district in a Twitter post. The cases are completely unrelated and neither person was in school to infect others. ....

SHARON, MA Sharon Public Schools reported on Tuesday that a staff member at Cottage Street Elementary School has tested positive for coronavirus, the district s fourth new positive case since Jan. 5.
According to a letter to families from Superintendent of Schools Meg Dussault, those who came in close contact with the staff member have been notified and the school will continue to help the affected individuals.
The new positive case comes just days after the district reported staff COVID-19 case at East Elementary School on Tuesday, a student COVID-19 case at Sharon High School on Thursday, and a staff COVID-19 case at Heights Elementary School on Saturday. ....

SHARON, MA Sharon Public Schools reported on Saturday that a staff member at Heights Elementary School has tested positive for coronavirus, the district s third new positive case in the last week.
According to a letter to families from Superintendent of Schools Meg Dussault, those who came in close contact with the staff member have been notified and the school will continue to help the affected individuals.
Though we cannot provide specific information about our community member who tested positive, your child was not a close contact (defined as being within 6 feet of the person for at least 15 minutes) of the affected person, wrote Dussault. We ask that you all continue to monitor your child on a daily basis for symptoms, and keep your child home if he/she/they shows any ....
