When Amber Gibson last flew from Chicago to Denver, she sat next to a passenger who was wearing a mask over his mouth but not his nose. Despite repeated requests from her and flight attendants, he refused to adjust his face covering. While interest in getting vaccinated for Covid-19 might vary, the desire to travel largely does not.
A study released by Hilton last October indicated that 95% of Americans miss traveling. But those who either can t or won t take a Covid vaccination may find themselves shut out of some routine travel experiences, such as flying, cruising and going to business conferences.  
Here s how the choice of whether to vaccinate (or not) may affect travel plans in the future.
Traveling abroad
Though no country has announced a mandatory vaccination requirement yet, it s very possible that some will once vaccinations become freely available, said Sharona Hoffman, co-director of the Law-Medicine Center at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. ....

Should the COVID-19 vaccine figure into the future of flying? [Los Angeles Times]
The vaccine for COVID-19 might be the beginning of the end of the pandemic, but for airlines, it’s the beginning of the discussion about how and whether a vaccine will factor into the future of flying.
The discussion gained momentum after Alan Joyce, chief executive of Qantas Airways, said in November that the Australian airline will require passengers for international flights to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.  
“Whether you’ll need that domestically, we’ll have to see what happens with COVID-19 and the market, but certainly for international visitors coming out and people leaving the country, we think that’s a necessity,” Joyce said, according to CBS News.   ....
