Muscat: The MSX index closed at 3,848.74 points, down 0.50 per cent from the previous close. The Sharia Index ended up 0.23 per cent at 553.61 points.
Salalah Mills, up 6.55 per cent, was the top gainer while Oman & Emirates Holding, down 9.43 per cent, was the top loser. Shares of Madina Takaful were the most active in terms of the number of shares traded while Al Jazeera Service was most active in terms of turnover.
A total number of 502 trades were executed during the day s trading session, generating a turnover of OMR1 million, with more than 7.5 million shares changing hands. Out of 46 traded stocks, 8 advanced, 19 declined and 19 remained unchanged. At the session close, foreign investors were net sellers for OMR89,000 while GCC & Arab investors were net buyers for OMR47,000 followed by Locals investors for OMR42,000 worth of shares. ....

Muscat: The MSX index closed at 3,840.14 points, down 0.05 per cent from the previous close. The Sharia Index ended up 0.72 per cent at 550.50 points.
Madina Takaful, up 5.43 per cent, was the top gainer while Voltamp Energy, down 6.45 per cent, was the top loser. The shares of Madina Takaful were the most active in terms of the number of shares traded as well as terms of turnover.
A total number of 1,131 trades were executed during the day s trading session, generating a turnover of OMR6 million, with more than 25 million shares changing hands. Out of 47 traded stocks, 16 advanced, 12 declined and 19 remained unchanged. At the session close, GCC & Arab investors were net sellers for OMR327,000 while local investors were net buyers for OMR203,000 followed by foreign investors for OMR124,000 worth of shares. ....

Muscat: The MSX index closed at 3,816.99 points, up 0.20 per cent from the previous close. The Sharia Index ended up 0.40 per cent at 541.66 points.
National Aluminum Product, up 8.40 per cent, was the top gainer while Dhofar Cattle Feed, down 5.10 per cent, was the top loser. Shares of United Finance were the most active in terms of the number of shares traded while Jazeera Steel Product was most active in terms of turnover.
A total number of 1,029 trades were executed during the day s trading session, generating a turnover of OMR3 million, with more than 21 million shares changing hands. Out of 51 traded stocks, 17 advanced, 4 declined and 30 remained unchanged.
