Bald to retire at St. Norbert

St. Norbert College Athletics Director Tim Bald has announced his retirement that will take effect on June 1.
Bald has led the Green Knights athletic department for 17 years and with substantial success.   Teams have captured 78 conference championships during his tenure, earning 63 NCAA Division III National Tournament appearances with five national championships won.   The school has also added four sports to it’s intercollegiate offerings over that span.
In addition to success on the field of play, Bald was instrumental in the construction of Schneider Stadium in 2010 which hosts football, soccer and track and field.   St. Norbert refurbished the Mel Nicks Sports Complex for baseball and softball in 2015 and most recently, renovated and expanded the main department headquarters into the Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center completed in 2017 which houses the basketball fieldhouse, pool, weight ....
