New Delhi: A year ahead of the MCD elections in Delhi, the BJP on Wednesday suffered a setback as it failed to win even a single seat in the municipal by-elections held for five constituencies on Sunday. The votes were counted on Wednesday and the Aam Aadmi Party, which runs the government in the national capital, won four of the total five seats that went to the polls. The opposition Congress won one seat. ....

New Delhi [India], March 3 (ANI): The counting of votes for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) by-polls began on Wednesday morning and as per early trends, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates are leading in four wards Shalimar Bagh North, Kalyanpuri, Trilokpuri and Rohini- C. The Congress candidate is leading in Chauhan Bangar.
As per the trends at 9:45 am, AAP is leading by 6,227 votes in Kalyanpuri ward (after 7 rounds), by 3,791 votes in Trilokpuri ward (after 6 rounds), by 1,759 votes in Shalimar Bagh North ward (after 6 rounds) and by 2,157 votes in Rohini C ward (after 8 rounds) ....

Delhi MCD By-Election Results 2021 is out. Ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) put up a great show by winning four out of five wards in these elections. Congress has won the Chauhan Banger ward in the municipal polls in Delhi. 
Voting was held in two wards - Rohini-C and Shalimar Bagh (North) in the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), and three wards - Trilokpuri, Kalyanpuri and Chauhan Banger in the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) last Sunday. While Shalimar Bagh (North) is reserved for women, Trilokpuri and Kalyanpuri are reserved for the Scheduled Caste (SC) category. The voter turnout recorded was 50.86%. ....

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has on Wednesday put a stellar show by winning four of the five municipal wards in Delhi. The four wards where AAP candidates emerged victorious are   Shalimar Bagh (North), Kalyanpuri, Trilokpuri and Rohini-C. The Congress won the remaining one ward - Chauan Banger. The BJP failed to open its account in the bypolls. Out of the five wards, four were held by the AAP while Shalimar Bagh North had a BJP councillor. AAP leader and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in a tweet congratulated the party workers for the victory and said people were fed up with the BJP and would bring in Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal s politics of honesty and work. ....

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday registered victory in four wards in Municipal Corporation of Delhi bye-elections. The bypolls were held in five wards on February 28 in which over 50 per cent votes were cast.
The bypoll election results that have come today must have rung alarm bells for the Bharatiya Janata Party as in the 2017 MCD polls, the BJP had retained all three corporations with the AAP finishing a distant second. ....
