From making the appointments for two family members to receiving the vaccine at the Volusia County facility, I witnessed a total of four trips to the Volusia County Fairgrounds for their shots. Each trip ran smoothly; the parking was plentiful and managed as smoothly as any theme park. Directions were clear, there were plenty of guides to help anyone who needed help, people needing handicapped parking were quickly directed.
Inside the clean, spacious buildings were tables for swift registrations, then directions given to exactly where to go to receive the vaccine. After the injection, patients were sent to a holding area where medical personnel waited in case of any reactions to the vaccine. Everyone was pleasant and efficient.
Locals did a good job with vaccines; space flight lands jobs; Cuba and guns and more
