Kingston College (KC) continued to lead the boys’ race while Edwin Allen girls have taken over from first-day leaders St Jago High following day two of the 110th staging of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium on Wednesday.
 
Defending champions Edwin Allen High, which are highly fancied to win their sixth straight championship and seventh overall, have opened up a 12-point lead over St Jago High after entering the day 10 points behind the leaders in third place. ....

Jamaica College (JC) and Hydel High girls dominated at Saturday’s Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association qualification meet at the Ashenheim Stadium at JC.
The day marked the return of track and field to Jamaica even as the authorities continue to grapple with the unrelenting surge in COID-19 cases. 
All sporting activities ceased shortly after Jamaica confirmed its first case of COVID-19 on March 10, last year.
