16 December 2020 Lamborghini has revealed the SC20, a unique 759bhp track car that can also be driven legally on the road. The second of two one-off projects engineered by Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse racing arm, the SC20 combines styling cues from the Diablo VT Roadster, Aventador J, Veneno Roadster and Concept S, creating a “dramatic combination of creativity and racing attitude”, according to Lamborghini. Other chief influences on the car include the Huracán GT3 Evo racer, which was the inspiration for the SC20’s pronounced front hood air intakes, and the Essenza SCV12, which has influenced the SC20’s sides. ....

► 750bhp V12, all-wheel drive ► Penned by the Centro Stile Lamborghini has made another bespoke creation for a keen and wealthy customer: this is the SC20. It s the second one-off creation from the brand s Centro Stile after the SC18. It’s a super-aggressive, roofless hypercar designed for the road. Bodywork is all carbonfibre, with a front splitter like that of the Huracan EVO GT3 racer and side fins like that of the Essenza SCV12 track weapon. The rear wing is manually adjustable with three heights. Power comes from the 6.5-litre V12 that’s so intrinsic to Sant’Agata’s hypercars these days, making 750bhp and 531lb ft. That’s sent through Lambo’s seven-speed ‘independent shifting rod’ gearbox (the same one used in the Aventador) to all four wheels. Speaking of wheels, the fronts are 20-inch and the rears are 21-inch. ....
