STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Police arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting last December on a bustling commercial strip in Tompkinsville.
Brandon Rivera, 28, of the 400 block of Van Duzer Street, was apprehended on Monday in connection with the death of Joseph Evans, 22. ....

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A New Jersey resident was arraigned Tuesday on murder and other charges stemming from the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man inside a Stapleton recording studio four months ago.
An indictment against Charles Brooks, 29, was unsealed in state Supreme Court, St. George, in connection with the death of Jahade Chancey on Jan. 16.
Brooks, who lives on South 15th Street in Newark, pleaded not guilty. ....
