REDDING, Calif. – Two people were sent to the hospital after a collision Thursday afternoon due to a motorcyclist who was attempting to speed away from police, according to authorities.
Just before 1:40 p.m., a Redding police officer said they attempted to stop the driver of a Kawasaki motorcycle for having no visible license plate and speeding. The motorcyclist sped off and the officer did not pursue due to the danger to the community. ....
