Major Christopher Warnagiris, who s stationed at the Marine Corps base Quantico, has been charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers; obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder; and obstruction of justice, among other charges. Prosecutors said Warnagiris, 40, defied, pushed, and resisted Capitol Police to help others break into the US Capitol on January 6. Security footage cited by prosecutors apparently shows Warnagiris pushing through a line of police officers upon entering the Capitol building, then using his body to hold a door open and let others in behind him.
