Police are appealing for more information after a teenage girl was raped in a park in broad daylight. A 14-year-old girl was waling on open land to the south of Westleigh Park between 4pm and 5.30pm on Thursday April 22when she was approached by an unknown man. The man pulled her into some bushes before raping her. The man is described at a white man, around 6 feet tall and with green eyes. He is believed to be around 20-years old or younger and was wearing a black hooded top, black Covid mask, black jogging bottoms with two white stripes and green trainers with black laces. ....

The attacker targeted the girl as she walked on open land to the south of Westleigh Park in Leigh, Wigan, on Thursday afternoon. The offender is described as white, 6ft tall, aged about 20 with green eyes. He is said to have a southern accent and a black tattoo on the right side of his neck. ....
Appeal for information after teenage girl raped A 14-year-old girl was walking near Westleigh Park, Leigh on Thursday afternoon when she was raped by a man. The girl was walking on open land to the south of the park between 4pm and 5.30pm when a man pulled her into bushes before raping her and then fleeing in an unknown direction. The man is described by police as white, 6ft tall with green eyes and aged around 20-years-old. Greater Manchester Police today shared an appeal for information. Superintendent Mark Kenny of GMP s Wigan District said: The girl is receiving care from specialist officers while we investigate this terrifying attack. Our thoughts are with her and her family. ....
