This week, artisan ice cream company Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams unveiled a limited-edition flavor in honor of President Joe Biden and, according to the company, it’s flying off the shelves.
Biden was inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States on Wednesday. In his honor, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams released a flavor inspired by his favorite order White House Chocolate Chip.

Our new president has a well-documented fondness for ice cream and now he’s getting his very own flavor. Joe Biden is a fan of the brand Jeni’s Splendid, an Ohio-based ice cream company, and has become friends with its founder, Jeni Britton Bauer. Over the years she’s gotten to know his go-to order and now she’s created a flavor based on it.
To celebrate the 46th president’s first days in office, Britton Bauer has made White House Chocolate Chip, which is inspired by his favorite order: a double scoop of chocolate chip ice cream on a waffle cone. Jeni’s Splendid’s take on that is “velvety vanilla” ice cream with crunchy chocolate flakes from Theo Chocolate swirled with little pieces of chocolate-covered waffle cones. You can get it by the pint

Dave Joyce.
