Sign-ups for summer reading program to begin Written by Nickolas Seibel on May 5, 2021 It’s time once again for children and adults to begin thinking about the Silver City Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, and while COVID-19 has forced the continuing closure of the library, preregistration for this popular, gift-laden program begins May 11. The 2021 theme is animals “Tales and Tails” and participants are encouraged to share their summer animal adventures on social media. Registration is available by calling the library at 538-3672, by email to [email protected] mail.com, or by sending a message on the library’s Facebook page. Staff require the name and age of each program participant. The 2021 program begins June 1, and reading logs must be submitted no later than July 16. ....
