Un total de 34 aspirantes han formalizado su inscripción para participar en las galas en las que se conocerán los nombres de las reinas del Carnaval 2016, en las modalidades adulta, infantil y de los mayores, durante las galas que se celebrarán en el escenario del Recinto Ferial.
El cetro de la Reina del Carnaval reúne a 14 aspirantes en el certamen previsto para el próximo 3 de febrero, un espectáculo que será dirigido por Enrique Camacho y que se retransmitirá en directo a través de Televisión Canaria y el grupo Atresmedia.
Una docena de niñas participarán, el domingo 24 de enero, a las 18:00 horas, en la Gala en la que se elegirá a la Reina Infantil. Por otra parte, ocho serán las candidatas que opten al título de soberana de los mayores, en el acto que tendrá lugar el miércoles 27 de enero, a las 17:30 horas.

While we’ve spent a great deal talking about our Independence Day celebration this week, we also need to be mindful of the bigger picture related to the holiday. When we built this great nation, we came together to create something amazing. In the years that followed, we have come together to protect and preserve that incredible creation when we need to.
The local World War II residents we have worked with as we put together this weekend’s ceremony have certainly helped all of us appreciate the true meaning of Independence Day. We enjoyed working with the families of Don Miehls, Ed Dunagan, Frank Romero, Pat Mitchell, Bill Crabb, Bill Fuson and Willard Blair. We also had a great visit with Calvin Strickland and enjoyed thanking him for his service. We had the chance to talk to many other veteran families as we developed this weekend’s ceremony.
