Cole We know you know this one. Even though he was born on a military base in Germany, rapper J. Cole grew up on Forest Hills Drive in Fayetteville and graduated from Terry Sanford High School. But the way you all handled the Market House painting situation was truly unacceptable. The timing was horrible. I was aware that the mural was temporary. Even before the paint went down, I expressed that symbolism is pointless without real change. However, after speaking with the artist, I decided to help out. Even after looking at it, I still felt as if it had done nothing. But I respect the artist’s stance and freedom of expression. In addition, I knew a few of the artists personally.
