Man on trial for murder of gay Eastern Cape man abandons bail bid

(Photo: Lulama Zenzile/Gallo Images) Luvuyo Jonas, who stands accused of murdering well known Kariega gay man, Andile Ntutela, has abandoned his bail application. Jonas, 28, appeared in the KwaNobuhle Magistrate s Court on Tuesday on a charge of murder.  He is accused of killing Ntutela and burying him at his KwaNobuhle home at the end of March. Luvuyo Jonas, who is accused of murdering a popular Kariega gay man, Andile Ntutela, has abandoned his bail application. Jonas, 28, appeared in the KwaNobuhle Magistrate s Court on Tuesday on a charge of murder.  The case was postponed to 1 June for further investigation.
