Unlike many other regional art museums, it is not located amidst acres of lush woods nor across the street from a stately city hall or historic columned library. Instead, FR MoCA is located in a former nightclub in an industrial zone, surrounded by fast food joints and automobile repair shops.
But that said, passing through the front door is a revelation. As one enters through a quietly elegant foyer past a showcase cabinet and a vitrine into a flawless white wall gallery with a high black decorative ceiling and onpoint lighting, one might be reminded of a prestigious Fifth Avenue gallery.  ....

FALL RIVER — This is the story of how a high-school dropout and a shy kid from a trailer park turned a pop-up show into a museum.
Harry Gould Harvey IV and Brittni Ann Harvey aren’t the types you expect to see on the international gallery circuit. They grew up poor in communities near Fall River. Harry, now 29, calls himself “a destitute swamp yankee.” Brittni, 28, didn’t think she was worthy of attending RISD, and went to two other schools before she dared apply — and was accepted. Both became artists, exhibiting in New York and beyond. ....
