MISSOURI VETERANS COMMISSION AND MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT LAUNCH NEW BENEFITS AND RESOURCE PORTAL FOR VETERANS AND MILITARY MEMBERS


The Missouri Veterans’ Commission (MVC) has announced the launching of the Missouri Benefits and Resource Portal. In collaboration with the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) Office of the Missouri Military Advocate, MVC created the portal to serve as an informational tool and service guide to help Veterans find potential benefits and local resources.
The initiative for a one-stop-shop for Veteran resources began after a University of Central Missouri research project commissioned by the Office of the Missouri Military Advocate. The project resulted in a 32-page document titled “A Comprehensive Analysis of Missouri’s Efforts to Improve the Quality of Life for Military Service Members and their Families,” which recommended a centralized website. ....

Commission of the Missouri Veterans Commission releases full 415-page independent investigation report on Veterans Homes' COVID-19 responseOzark Radio News


JEFFERSON CITY – On the behalf of the commission of the Missouri Veterans Commission, chairman Timothy Noonan today released the full 415-page independent, external investigation report into the Missouri Veterans Commission’s response to COVID-19. The investigation, ordered by Governor Mike Parson and conducted by Armstrong Teasdale, examined the COVID-19 response in all seven Veterans Homes and by MVC headquarters.
