Sentinel Staff WASHINGTON Members of the bipartisan House Great Lakes Task Force wrote to senior Biden administration officials Tuesday outlining priorities for Great Lakes funding in the fiscal year 2022 budget.  Among the priorities outlined are bolstering the facility used to prevent invasive Asian carp species from entering Lake Michigan, studying coastal resiliency to find better erosion mitigation tactics along the Great Lakes and ecosystem restoration.  Members, including Co-Chair Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Zeeland, and Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, wrote to Office of Budget and Management Acting Director Shalanda Young and Acting Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Jaime A. Pinkham.
